Has Anyone Ever Heard of Gynecomastia and What Are Some Options for Treatment?
I believe I may have this problem (male breasts) and I have had it since i was 12 but didn’t realize that there was an actual disease/disorder, I just thought I was cursed with this for life, anyways if anyone has had surgery to correct this problem, please let me know what options there are and estimated price for surgery. Thanks
What type of doctor would I need to see??
Stop eating meat and dairy products NOW… those hormones in meat and dairy products are probably what’s causing this. Start eating a vegetarian diet… Eat plenty of leafy greens and make sure to eat ground up FLAX SEEDS… These things will help you get your body regulated again. Also a multivitamin might help. Also, try running and doing everything you can to get lean. Also, smoke a SMALL amount of pot (not too much else it will make the problem worse)… Small doses of THC are essential… Once you are lean and healthy then work out your chest doing something like pushups or lifting weights.
If you do all this, you will get in shape, get lean, and lose your man boobs.
I work with a doctor where we diagnose patients with this problem. Most of our patients go in for surgery and have the extra tissue removed. All of the patients we have are very happy after the surgery. They do have slight scarring, but to them that is better than having "breasts" and is a lot less emotionally difficult to handle. As for price, most insurance companies cover it, so I’m not sure exactly how much it costs. Here’s a link if you want to learn more

Talk to your normal doctor first, but they might refer you to an endocrinologist (that’s what I work with). If you’re referred, they’ll do blood tests to make sure it’s not a horomone problem first, and officially diagnose it, then refer you to a surgeon.
How old are you?
Go and see a General surgeon or a Plastic surgeon. They are the ones that will tell you if you need surgery or not…In most cases you will..There will be a very little scar that no one will see unless you point it out….
